With snow possible tonight into tomorrow, Gastonia Public Works crews are spending the day applying brine to priority streets. We will continue to monitor the weather and road conditions. If needed slag (salt/sand mixture) will be applied to bridges.
Garbage and recycling pickup tomorrow (Wednesday) will be delayed. Solid Waste trucks are expected to being collection tomorrow around 9 a.m.
