Gastonia Police Department’s Special Olympics Committee will host an Easter Egg Drop at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31 at First Assembly of God, 777 S. Myrtle School Road, Gastonia. Admission costs $3 per child, and age limits are infant to 6 years old.
“This is our first fundraiser for 2018, and over 1,000 eggs have been stuffed with candy or toys,” said Sgt. Scott Norton, chairman of GPD’s Special Olympics Committee. “One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit Special Olympics North Carolina.”
