City of Gastonia residents and Two Rivers Utilities customers have an additional location to pay their monthly bills. An automated payment kiosk is now located at the Food Lion at 1024 W. Hudson Blvd. Other automated kiosks are at the Bi-Lo at 2601 S. New Hope Rd. and the Ganesha Food Mart at 1617 N. Chester St.
Gastonia Revenue Administrator Susan Kluttz says options for making automated payments were reduced when two Bi-Lo stores in Gastonia recently closed. “The City is grateful for the partnership with Food Lion at Hudson Corners. They agreed to let us to put a payment kiosk at that location, making it convenient for our customers as well as theirs.”
The three automated payment centers work much like bank ATMs. To make a payment, customers must have their 8-digit City of Gastonia billing account number and address information.
Other ways customers can pay their utility bills:
By mail
Make your check or money order payable to the City of Gastonia. Tear off the lower portion of your bill and include it with your check in the blue return envelope. Please write your account number on your check.
24-hour drop box
Pay by check or money order at one of two payment drop boxes. They are located at the Garland Business Center parking lot at 150 S. York St. and outside Cramerton Town Hall. Tear off the lower portion of your bill and include it with your check. Make sure the check includes your name, address and City account number.
Online
Use the City’s payment portal to pay with a debit card, credit card or bank account.
Automated bank draft
The amount of your utility bill will be automatically drafted from your bank account each month. You will still receive your monthly bill in the mail showing your total current charges and the date this amount will be drafted from your bank account. Ace Cash Express
To pay face-to-face, go to Ace Cash Express at 2597 W. Franklin Blvd. Customers are charged a $1 convenience fee for this option.

Use a MasterCard, Visa, Discover or electronic check to pay your bill from anywhere, 24-hours a day. Call 704-866-6716 or 1-888-484-9465. Have your account number and billing ZIP code before you call.
Please note that with some payment methods, payments received after 5 p.m., on weekends or on holidays will be posted the next business day.
