The City of Gastonia will host the Dixie Youth Baseball Division 1-AA State Tournament from June 30 – July 5 at Sims Legion Park in Gastonia. Twelve teams from across the state that won their respective tournament, will compete in the youth baseball tournament.
Each team is comprised of the best players from their city or town’s recreation league and are a Dixie Youth-franchised organization.
“This is a great opportunity for our City to be chosen to host this tournament and a great opportunity to showcase and support youth baseball,” said Gastonia’s Athletics Director Ryan Resendez. “We welcome everyone to our City and wish them the best of luck in their tournament play.”

- Gates open to public at 4:30 p.m.
- Opening Ceremony: Friday, June 30 at 5:00 p.m. | Sims Legion Park | 1201 Dr. MLK, Jr. Way (Gastonia)
- Admission to all events is free.
Tournament pool play on Saturday, July 1 and double elimination style bracket beginning on Sunday, July 2. Laser show at grand finale.
