Leaf season picking up for the City

Two City leaf vacuuming trucks

Leaves are falling at a faster pace every day and the City is using its vacuum trucks to pick them up as quickly as possible. Again this year, the City is asking residents to help by not bagging leaves and keeping leaf piles out of the road and off sidewalks.

Peak leaf season is November through January. During this time City crews will be working to pick up leaves in each neighborhood twice per month. However, yard waste, such as brush and limbs, will only be collected the first full week of the month. (November 6 -10; December 4-8; January 8-12). Citizens are advised to make note of the adjusted yard waste schedule.
