Lions and Tigers and Bears exhibit at the Schiele

Polar bearA National Geographic exhibit is opening at The Schiele Museum of Natural History at 9:00 a.m. on February 3, 2018. Lions & Tigers & Bears: Through the Lens with National Geographic will be featured in The Stowe Gallery at the museum until May 6, 2018.

This exhibition will be included in general admission into The Schiele. Lions & Tigers & Bears: Through the Lens with National Geographic features exquisite imagery of these beautiful, powerful creatures. The exhibit will display breathtaking images of lions, tigers, and bears in their natural habitats, providing insight and education about their lives in the wild. With 50 photographs, labels, and text panels this exhibit will be fascinating to all ages.

Lions & Tigers & Bears: Through the Lens with National Geographic features multi-year coverage from National Geographic photographers Michael “Nick” Nichols, Steve Winter, and Paul Nicklen. This exhibit attests to the fierceness and majestic beings that lions, tigers, and bears are. The exhibit’s images shed light on these particular animals often seen as mysterious, leaving much to the unknown.

“The Schiele Museum’s mission is to inspire wonder and appreciate for science and the natural world. This exhibit showcases the natural world with candid, wonderful images of moments many of us will never be able to see in person. It provides a delightful look into the life of lions, tigers, and bears,” said Dr. Ann Tippitt, Executive Director at The Schiele.

Visit The Schiele Museum between February 3 and May 6 to have a glimpse into the wild and the lives of some of earth’s most powerful creatures.
