The Gastonia Fire Department would like to announce the following promotions within the department:
Capt. Dusty Rudisill to the rank of Battalion Chief
Chief Rudisill has served the citizens of Gastonia for over 19 years having been hired by the department in April of 2001. Rudisill is also the Fire Chief at Howard’s Creek Fire Department in Lincoln County, N.C.
Engineer Lucas Rollins to the rank of Captain
Capt. Rollins has served the citizens of Gastonia for over eight years having been hired by the department on June 13, 2011.
Firefighter Josh Love to the rank of Engineer
Engineer Love has served the citizens of Gastonia for over 14 years having been hired by the department on Jan. 9, 2006.
Firefighter Mark Wright to the rank of Engineer
Engineer Wright has served the citizens of Gastonia for over 18 years having been hired by the department on July 15, 2002.
Firefighter Donald Gaddy to the Rank of Engineer
Engineer Wright has served the citizens of Gastonia for over 20 years having been hired by the department July 12, 1999.
