City of Gastonia offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24 in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
Garbage and recycling pickup for Thursday and Friday customers will be affected. Thursday’s Solid Waste customers will have their green roll-out garbage carts emptied on Friday, Nov. 24. Green-week recycling customers who normally have Thursday pickup will receive service on Friday, instead.
Customers who usually have pickup on Friday will have their green roll-out garbage carts emptied on Monday, Nov. 27. Friday’s green-week recycling customers will have their recycling carts emptied on Monday, as well.
