City of Gastonia offices will be closed Friday, March 30 for the Easter holiday. City Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule on both Friday, March 30 and Saturday, March 31.
There will be no City garbage or recycling pickup on Friday, March 30. Friday customers will have their garbage and green-week recycling picked up on April 2. Monday customers will also have their garbage and orange-week recycling collected as scheduled on April 2. There will be no collection of yard waste or excess household trash on Friday, March 30 or Monday, April 2.
City Parks and the City’s Skeet and Trap Range will be open for regular hours on Friday, March 30. However, community centers and City administrative offices will be closed for Good Friday.
