Two Rivers Utilities will close one westbound lane of the 2600 block of East Franklin Boulevard (U.S. 74) in Gastonia starting at 10 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16. Crews will repair a water leak. The map above shows the work area and planned lane closure.
The closure will be near the Steak N Shake restaurant. Vehicle traffic will have limited access to Steak N Shake during the repairs. The driveway to Cook Out will remain open. Water service is expected to be disrupted for Steak N Shake and Cook Out.
Two Rivers Utilities will work to repair the leak as quickly as possible and minimize disruption for motorists and customers.
